Amy Abbott

Amy is a retired Air Force officer who served 23 years before pursuing law school as a way to continue serving her community. 

She is currently in her final year at the University of Houston Law Center and after sitting for the bar will join G2G full time, continuing her commitment to youth advocacy and community impact. 

Throughout her career and volunteer work she has dedicated herself to supporting children in foster care, orphanages, and underserved communities, both domestically and abroad.

She currently teaches G2Gs Democracy Lab, has gained experience through internships in youth advocacy, civil rights, legislative, and judicial roles, and is passionate about creating equitable opportunities for young people and improving the systems that affect their lives.

Amy also earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Riverside, and a Master’s degree from the Air Force’s Air University.
