Raisha Williams
Raisha, a native New Yorker, is currently in her final year at the University of Houston Law Center.
She started interning with Generation to Generation in Fall 2023, contributing to editing the youth, family and attorney handbooks for youth involved in child welfare and delinquency systems.
Her background includes serving as a former CASA volunteer and working with New York City’s Department of Education, representing the public school system in impartial hearing cases.
She has also interned with the Washington D.C. and Harris County public defender offices. Her passion for advocating children’s rights in education drives her to pursue a career in juvenile justice post-graduation.
