Tara Tran
Intern, Summer 2026
Tara is a first-year student at the University of Texas School of Law with an interest in workers’ and children’s rights.
She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in Government and a minor in Urban Teachers.
As an undergraduate, Tara taught history in Title I schools through her teaching program. Additionally, she conducted research at the University of Texas and the University of Houston, focusing on public camping bans and the impact of human rights violations on elections. After graduation, she volunteered with the Cy-Hope After School Program and worked as a substitute teacher.
Tara’s experiences have motivated her to advocate for children and families, and she hopes to use her legal career to ensure they have equitable access to opportunities and meaningful legal representation.
